MSIS Capabilities
MSIS performs full-lifecycle IV&V.
We perform independent verification and validation through each phase of development. Through process verification and validation we can ensure that your project is proceeding in accordance with documented procedures. We conduct static code and code complexity analyses to measure the quality and testability of source code and to identify possible problems. We develop system-level models to compare against system specifications to validate top-level system requirements.
Other analyses include:
- Requirements analysis, verifying that requirements are being met by the system under development,
- Criticality analysis and risk assessment, identifying functional areas that are critical or high-risk,
- System test analysis, ensuring that system tests are sufficient, and
- Software safety studies, determining the level of compliance with software safety standards.
MSIS performs software and systems engineering
We provide expertise in the development and continued operations and maintenance of the Aegis Weapon System and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System.
We develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools to support the US Navy’s efforts in providing shipboard combat systems to foreign Navies, e.g., Australia, Canada, Taiwan, and Korea.
We provide systems-level expertise in support of the US Navy’s Techrep on-site contingent at the Raytheon Facility in Tucson, AZ where SM-2 and SM-6 missiles are designed, developed, upgraded, and manufactured.
MSIS is on-site at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana providing software engineering and systems development expertise in the development of the US Marine’s Ground Based Operational Surveillance System (GBOSS).
MSIS builds custom software solutions.
We develop software tools that integrate existing software as well as develop and maintain standalone software tools for a variety of applications.
We develop and maintain real-time systems for U.S. Navy weapon systems.
MSIS produces blended training applications.
We develop training modules on your subject matter. Sessions can be made up of classroom or Web-based material, and can be delivered on- or off-site.
We also produce video training, professionally produced in the latest HD formats. Our training media on DVDs incorporate text, audio, video, and the Internet to provide a true multimedia training experience.
